According to Yonhap News, LG Display has been supplying OLED panels to Chinese TV maker Hisense since the second quarter of this year.
Hisense is expected to start selling and selling high-end TVs equipped with LG OLED panels from the third quarter. Currently, Hisense’s main push is ULED TV and laser TV.

According to reports, Hisense is the number one TV manufacturer in China. The share data given by Ditgitimes is that Hisense TV has a price above US$2,000 and the global share is as high as 15%.
According to IHS Markit, in the first quarter of 2018, global shipments of OLED TV panels were 602,000, an increase of 109% from a year ago, and it is expected to reach a record high of 743,000 in the third quarter.
LG OLED TV panel manufacturers have previously got Sony, Panasonic, Skyworth, Changhong, Philips, Loewe, etc., Hisense's accession will undoubtedly bring more choices to consumers, while exacerbating market competition.
