Hon Hai Foxconn's SuperVision 8K panel factory in Zengcheng, Guangzhou, is progressing smoothly. It is expected to enter mass production after the second half of the year, with a monthly production capacity of 90,000 pieces, igniting high-end panel wars. The oversupply situation of the panel industry has not been reduced. Supervising the Hon Hai Group is strong, the new production capacity is wide open, and AUO and other operators are under great pressure.

Affected by the industry's off-season and quotation, AUO's fourth-quarter revenue fell simultaneously, with a single-season performance of 77.09 billion yuan, a quarterly decrease of 4.9%, and an annual decrease of 4.4%. Last year's total revenue was 307.63 billion yuan, compared with 2017. Reduced by 9.8%. AUO is expected to hold a law conference next Tuesday (29th). The market is concerned about the previous quarter's earnings report. It is more concerned about how the AUO management team will respond after the opening of the mainland's new capacity in the mainland next year.

According to Lu Media, Foxconn's 8K project in Zengcheng SuperVision is progressing smoothly. It is expected to be mass-produced in September this year, with an estimated annual production value of RMB 92 billion (about NT$424.4 billion).

Opportunity, estimated monthly production capacity of 90,000 glass substrates (size 2940mm X 3370mm).

The industry believes that the completion of mass production of SuperVision can be regarded as a milestone in the development of Big Sea Group's large-size and advanced panel technology.
