      lcd display cost-第二张图.jpg     OLED is the abbreviation of English Organic Light Emitting Diode, translated into Chinese as organic light-emitting diode. Unlike traditional LCD displays, which do not require a backlight, they use a very thin coating of organic material and a glass substrate that illuminates when current is passed through. Moreover, the OLED display screen can be made lighter and thinner, has a larger viewing angle, and can significantly save power. Therefore, since 2003, this display device has been widely used in MP3 players, and for the same digital products. DC and mobile phones, previously only showed engineering samples using OLED screens at some exhibitions, and have not yet entered the stage of practical application. But OLED screens have many advantages that LCDs can't match, so it has always been favored by the industry. OLED display technology

  The advantages of OLED:

 1, the thickness can be less than 1 mm, only 1/3 of the LCD screen, and the weight is also lighter;

 2, solid state mechanism, no liquid material, so the seismic performance is better, not afraid of falling;

 3, there is almost no problem of viewing angle, even if viewed under a large viewing angle, the picture is still not distorted;

 4, the response time is one thousandth of the LCD, showing that the moving picture will never have a smear phenomenon;

 5, low temperature characteristics, can still display normally at minus 40 degrees, and LCD can not do;

 6. The manufacturing process is simple and the cost is lower;

 7, the luminous efficiency is higher, the energy consumption is lower than the LCD;

 8. It can be fabricated on substrates of different materials and can be made into a flexible display that can be bent.

    The disadvantages of OLED:

 1, the life is usually only 5,000 hours, less than the life of the LCD at least 10,000 hours;

2, can not achieve mass production of large-size screen, so currently only applicable to portable digital products;

3, there is a problem of insufficient color purity, it is not easy to display bright, rich colors.
