Packing 128×128 resolution into a perfect 1:1 square ratio, it strikes a balance between sharp visuals and spatial efficiency that rectangular displays simply can't match. Many customers initially prefer long, narrow screens for wearables or handhelds, only to realize after prototyping that the square format delivers far cleaner layouts for circular watch faces, symmetrical UIs, and status icons without awkward cropping or wasted space. Whether you're developing a kids' smartwatch, a medical handheld, or an industrial control panel, this module performs reliably in real-world designs.

Our 1.44-inch square LCD is built around the ST7735S driver IC, supporting 4-wire SPI and MCU parallel interfaces, with a stable operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C-one we've rigorously tested across mass production runs. At just 2.25mm thick and under 5 grams, it adds barely noticeable weight or bulk to slim devices, yet fully supports full-color graphics without compromise.

Mechanically, the standard module uses a 26-pin 0.5mm pitch FPC with gold-plated pads and stiffener, defaulting to bottom-center exit with side-exit options. It's designed for ZIF connectors to streamline high-volume assembly. The backlight uses one white LED at 300–500 cd/m² with an integrated current-limiting resistor; higher-brightness multi-LED setups are available.

Outer dimensions are 34.41 mm × 29 mm × 2.25 mm, with a centered active area of 25.50 mm × 26.50 mm. We include complete 2D mechanical drawings with every sample shipment to simplify enclosure integration. The polarizer comes standard with anti-glare coating to reduce reflection in bright environments, with a glossy finish available for applications where crispness is prioritized.
