According to foreign media reports, Foxconn will invest 10 billion US dollars to build a liquid crystal panel production plant in Wisconsin, USA. Foxconn said the plant will create 3,000 jobs.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker said in a statement that the new plant could eventually create 13,000 direct jobs, 22,000 indirect and derivative jobs, and 10,000 jobs. Walker said the agreement also helps Wisconsin attract and retain talent.
