OLED is expected to become the mainstream of mobile panels. Both Samsung Display (SD) and LG Display (LGD) are actively expanding their production capacity. The current battle line has been extended from mobile phones to notebooks.
According to previous media reports, HP notebooks have decided to introduce Samsung OLED panels, Lenovo, Dell computers also have plans to launch OLED notebooks. In addition, Samsung Chuan is the main supplier of Apple's OLED panel, which is the biggest winner in the current mobile OLED mobile panel market.
Although LGD has a late layout for mobile OLED panels, it is also catching up. In addition to grabbing Xiaomi's first OLED panel order, LGD is also trying to sell its own curved OLED screen to Huawei. LGD is currently focusing on the product line below the 5-inch screen, but in the future it will follow Samsung's footsteps towards the 10-20-inch market.
