But because of this kind of liquid crystal arrangement method, the electric field direction of the control liquid crystal is different, IPS has such ability to use the hard glass screen, but TN type can't use.


Why can't TN-type LCDs use hard glass? Because the principle of TN liquid crystal display is to print circuit boards on the upper and lower glass plates, and it is not possible to use harder glass; the principle of IPS liquid crystal display is that only the lower glass can be controlled, so the upper layer can easily be thick and thin. Hard and soft.


IPS screen is better than TN screen, of course, corresponding to the price, it is not necessarily more cost-effective. The disadvantages of TN over IPS are:


1, up and down perspective is not enough, in general TN screen (notebooks are basically all, you can try to watch yourself) around the perspective is quite large, 130-140 degrees should be no problem, but from top to bottom, especially on the perspective will be particularly small.


2. The number of hair colors is low, and it is widely believed that 16.7 M colors cannot be displayed and only 16.2 M colors can be displayed. This tragedy is caused by problems with the drive circuit.


3, at the same time, this 16.2M missing 500,000 kinds of tragedy, or dithering display. Dithering display: yellow + blue = green, first to you to see yellow, and then quickly turn blue, the human eye has a delay, it feels that the mixed color green.
