During SID Display Week 2022, AU showed off its latest monitors, offering ultra-high refresh rates of 480Hz for desktops and laptops.
Although prototypes were released several years ago, the 480Hz refresh rate screen is now getting closer to mass production.
Au showed off a 24-inch and 16-inch desktop and laptop display with a resolution of 1920x1080 and an average response time of less than 1 millisecond using Twisted Nematic technology, also known as TN screens.
While most manufacturers have already moved from TN to OLED, VA and IPS screens, AU may have made the choice because it thought TN would make it easier to achieve ultra-high screens and fast responses.
