On September 29, Wuhan Mini LED Display Technology Industrial Park project of Skyworth Group (hereinafter referred to as "Skyworth Wuhan Project") started construction in Wuhan Linkong Port Economic development Zone (Dongxihu District). After completion, it will form a large intelligent manufacturing base for Mini LED TV with an annual output of more than 2.4 million units and an annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan, as well as the national headquarters for Skyworth Mini LED chips and backlight modules. Huang Hongsheng, founder of Skyworth group, said the project is expected to become the largest Mini LED manufacturing base in China and even the world in the next 10 years.
According to reports, skyworth Wuhan project with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, covering an area of about 350 mu, will build five modern intelligent factory buildings, RESEARCH and development center and related supporting facilities, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2023 put into operation, the park is expected to employ 2,000 people. After completion, it is mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of Mini LED backlight modules and Mini LED display terminals. As a new era of display technology, Mini LED has outstanding advantages in display, performance, cost, application and other aspects. Compared to traditional LED backlit TVS, Mini LED TVS have higher imaging contrast, color restoration and brightness.

It takes only four months from negotiation to commencement of the project. "We used to talk about visiting the thatched cottage three times, but for this project, relevant leaders and department heads from Wuhan city and Dongxihu District visited the thatched cottage more than ten times in Shenzhen headquarters."
