From high-tech construction news, December 11 at 10:18 a.m., Anhui Xitai Intelligent Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Anhui Xitai) 12 inch silicon BASED OLED micro display module project in Wuhu city, Anhui Province sanshan Economic Development Zone Chen Hongda industrial Park held a groundbreaking ceremony and cornerstone ceremony.
The project is expected to be completed and put into production in December 2023, with a design capacity of 18,000 12-inch wafers per month, including Micro OLED microdisplay and module manufacturing. After completion, it will be a production base with "8+12" inch micro display and module production line, as well as the world's largest production line of fully automated silicon OLED micro display devices.
According to the official website, Anhui Xitai was established in June 2016, located in The Chen Hongda Industrial Park, Sanshan District, Wuhu, Anhui, using advanced IC technology and cutting-edge AMOLED technology, mainly produces 0.2-2-inch high-resolution OLED micro display devices, the products are mainly used in VR/AR/MR and other fields.
Project History:
In October 2017, Anhui Xitai R&D Center was established;
In March 2018, the company's new generation of micro display chip light;
In August 2019, the plant construction of the project was completed, and the production line moved into the first equipment;
In June 2020, the construction of 8-inch production line of the first phase of the project was completed and the first product was shipped;
In December 2021, the company's 12-inch micro display module project (Phase II) laid the foundation and started construction;
