According to Zhang Shaobo, deputy general manager of China Building Materials Kaisen Technology Co., LTD., in order to further seize the commanding heights of flexible display materials, Peng Shou, chief engineer of China Building Materials Group and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, led the team to carry out key technological breakthroughs and core equipment of ultra-thin flexible foldable glass, and successfully developed ultra-thin flexible foldable glass with thickness of 30-70 micron series. The thickness of the 30-micron product is only a quarter of the thickness of A4 paper, the bending radius reaches 0.5 mm, the bending life breaks 1 million times, and the core performance index reaches the world's leading, creating an internationally advanced industrial chain of "high-strength glass - extremely thin thinning - high-precision post-processing", which guarantees the safety of China's new display industry chain and supply chain at the source.
He said that at present, the product has passed the audit and verification of domestic well-known terminal enterprises, and started mass delivery. It will soon realize the application of domestic ultra-thin flexible foldable glass in the folding mobile phone, but also in the flexible vehicle display screen, smart wear, integrated circuit and other fields to expand and apply.
