Under the strong support and promotion of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone Management Committee, tianma 8.6 generation new display panel production line project was officially launched in October 2021; In December 2021, the Management Committee of Torch High-tech Zone signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Tianma Company for the project. It is reported that the joint venture agreement between the partners of the project has been signed, marking that the project has officially entered the implementation stage.
The project content of this investment and construction project is: to build a new 8.6 generation display panel production line, which can process 120,000 pieces of 2250mm×2600mm glass substrate per month. The main technology of the project is a-Si(amorphous silicon) and IGZO(indium gallium zinc oxide) dual-track parallel technology. To vehicle, IT display (including tablet, laptop, monitor, etc.), industrial products and other display applications for the target product market. According to the plan, Tianma will establish a joint venture project company in Xiamen through its wholly-owned subsidiary Xiamen Tianma and its partners China International Trade Holding Group, Xiamen Rail Construction Development Group and Xiamen Golden Yuan Industry Development Co., LTD to construct the project, which will be located in Tongxiang New Town.
At present, Tianma company in LTPS mobile phone panel, LCD mobile phone punch screen and vehicle display and other fields, maintain the world's first market share.
